I loathe the idea of coming home from work and cashing out in front of the TV. I think life is for living, and sitting around isn't living. I'm just starting to realize that I won't live forever, so I don't have time to waste being bored. That being said, I unfortunately find myself in a new town where my only two friends regularly go to bed at 7:30, so I'm getting pretty familiar with bored. I'm a new grad from WSU and just moved to Tri-Cities to work as a chemist. I'm big on physical activity; biking, running, working out. I did a lot of boxing, gymnastics and free-running in college, I can do a few neat tricks I guess, if you've got a scooby-snack I might do one for you.

Hello! I am a geeky guy that recently graduated with a degree in computer science. Intelligence and open-mindedness are very important to me. I really enjoy playing games and watching movies or TV. All of those activities are enhanced by alcohol, but I also enjoy going to bars occasionally.

I could be best described as a jack of all trades, master of none (well hopefully I've mastered a couple by now). Also it may help to think of me as mad scientist meets athlete. I went to Washington State University right before they banned drinking in the mid 90's so I can drink beer like a fish.

Politically I am best summed up as Libertarian, meaning that I know you can run your life better than the government (any level of government) can. If you're not hurting anybody, government shouldn't take your freedoms and money and property away as if you were.

I am friendly and fun-loving with a dose of seriousness, spirituality and introspection thrown in the mix. I enjoy all sorts of activities and a broad spectrum of pleasures and past-times. I think I'm a fairly balanced individual, but then that's all relative so you'll have to make up your own mind.

Here's honesty for ya, been out of prison for a little over a year and rebuilding my life. At home I work on the never ending enjoyable project of working on my house. I have a few old motorcycles that I am restoring, a truck that never seems to want to run quite right, and a few wood working projects.

Being single is ok with me, not the best, but I do get lonely and very much wish to be with someone that I can share my life with and theirs with them. Wow, it's hard to talk about yourself. I think i'd rather answer what you might want to know. Just for starters though, I enjoy a wide range of people, activities and am open to new experiences.

Where to start... I have a great family and friends that I'm close with. I'm easy to get along with, laid back, and enjoy not being too serious... but when the time comes I can motivate myself to do anything. I'm business minded, have goals, and somewhat intellectual when need be, but my ultimate goal in life is to not work at all... so that I can explore the world, learn some cool stuff, and just have a good time.

I am your average Plain Jane, with a couple of oddities thrown in for good measure. I am very laid back. Almost to the point of lying down. I am polite almost to a fault (Although I sometimes swear more than I really should) and canâ??t fathom why people think it funny to be so rude these days. I doubt you would like it if I called you a scum sucking bottom dweller, before I even knew you, so why do it? Lets not be hypocrites. I must admit to a feeding complex. I love to feed people, the more slender they are, the more I am inclined to stuff their mouths with a Big Mac. I despise cooking most of the time, yet I am good at it. I am not a fan of spicy food, or grapefruit. I tend to stay clear of candy and energy drinks, thus I am saved from the sub sequential sugar rush and crash. I love my sleep, morning and I arenâ??t usually on speaking terms. That said, I do like to keep busy. Boredom is not an emotion I am overly fond of. Spontaneous traveling with no particular destination, the smell of the ocean, the sound of rain pounding on the roof, camping out, spring sunshine, and carnations. All these thing I love. Even if it does seem somewhat cheesy or girly. Opposite of these romanticized hobbies, I also enjoy four wheeling, devouring any knowledge of cars (particularly old Chevy classics), skiing, hiking, shooting targets and working on the farm. I like to think I am well rounded, in the aspect of the things I like to do for fun. Although my favorite time consumers are; listening to music and reading/writing. The majority of my time is taken up by this. Reading and writing are my addiction, one I do not wish to overcome and no twelve step program would ever cure. I hope to one day make my addiction a career and actually earn money while I indulge in it. Consequently I am a bit of a grammar Nazi. Much to the dismay of many of my friends and family. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who think that MiZSpeLIng, CApitOl or PunCTuaTion ERroR, make them cutesy. I do not find it cute, I find it stupid and difficult to read. There is nothing shameful about being smart or educated. We go through twelve years of mandatory schooling for a reason. I hope that we could at least pretend to have two brain cells to rub together. I will never understand why girls think it is desirable to act clueless, clumsy, and weak. If this is what people find attractive/sexy, I think I would be happier being hideously deformed. :) I mostly joined up here to have some fun and meet new people. Although as I re-read that statement I kinda think it sounds ridiculous. If I meet someone special that will be all the better.

I smile all of the time and daily sing in the car and shower. I am a busy gal, but always make time for my friends and family. I am not necessarily a fitness nut, but I am full of energy. There are several words I constantly misspell. I always order a iced grande sugar-free vanilla latte when I go for coffee.
I love to read the journals on here, but if they are more than a paragraph or two I usually skip them. I am rather partial to Twitter where you have to say what you need to say in 140 characters or less. But if you know me then you know that I love to have great conversation. So I guess one could say that I like things short and sweet, but in person I like to linger.
I watch movies rather than television. I have a TV, a rather big old clunky one, but no channels. I haven't had stations for almost three years and doing just fine with out them thank you. I'm not against it, just not a priority for me at the moment.
I have a thing for grammar and spelling. Although you may find an error or two right here on my pretty profile, and as I said earlier there are words I cannot spell, I find it annoying when people use no punctuation or capital letters.
